Summer Season 2023/24
The summer season has been a very successful season for Ladybirds Netball Club in 2023/24.
Under 9s
Both of our under 9s teams have displayed development in their skills including their passing, shooting, defending and team work. This is great to see from our young ones and we can’t wait to see how they continue to grow within the club. We wish these teams good luck in their final games for the season.
Under 11s
Our under 11s teams have been very successful throughout the summer season. Both teams have had some very close games and come out on top which is a great achievement for the girls. Our under 11s Red finished 4th on the ladder and under 11s Black finished 1st on their ladder, both continuing on to finals.
Under 13s
The two Ladybirds under 13s teams have also shown great skill in their games so far this season. After some very challenging games, both of our under 13s teams have finished 3rd on the ladder and are ready to put their all into their finals games.
Inters
Our inters team have had some tough games early in their season, but their skill and development throughout the season has been displayed in the results as the season has progressed. Our amazing inter girls have finished 2nd in their division heading on to play in finals.
Seniors
Our two senior teams both had some very close games throughout their seasons. Both showing great composure when challenged and pushing until they have been able to get over the line for the win. Our Senior Black team finished 3rd on the ladder and Senior Red finished 4th, both heading to finals.
Amazingly, all seven of our teams across the four age groups have reached finals. This is an amazing achievement for the club and for every individual involved. Congratulations and we wish luck to all teams in their finals campaigns.
Winter Team Vacancies
Thank you to all who attended our winter trials over the last few weeks. The skill on display was very impressive and we can’t wait to see all the teams at pre-season training.
We still have a few positions available in our Under 9s and Seniors age groups. Please spread the word to friends and family who might be interested in filling these vacancies.
Referral Incentive Program
With great success shown from previous seasons, we are continuing our referral incentive program. This involves a $50 Westfield gift voucher to be given to any new families to the club and the family that refer them to join Ladybirds Netball Club. Please advise the club through email if you have referred a player and who that player is.
Coaching opportunities
This winter season, we are introducing a new coaching incentive program to the club. This incentive allows parents/players that coach a team to use a portion of their coaching payment as discount for the next seasons playing fee for your child or yourself (must coach a minimum number of games to be eligible).

Photos
Club photo day was a great success for all teams involved. If you have ordered a photo from Sports in Focus, you should have received the digital copy through your email (check your junk folder if you have not received).
The physical copies of your photos will be given out at club presentations. Please get into contact with us if you are not able to attend presentations and have ordered a photo to be collected. If you ordered your photo to be delivered to your home, these will arrive in the next few days.

We here at Ladybirds are lucky enough to be supported by so many amazing local businesses, and we are wanting to give some support back. Does your family own a local business?
