Happy New Year Ladybirds family! 2024 is here and we cannot wait to get back on court. We trust everyone enjoyed a delightful Christmas and New Year! Good luck to all those going back to school in a few weeks.
Training starts back THIS Thursday the 18th January 2024 with games commencing next week! The new year also signifies the start of the planning for next season as we've surpassed the halfway mark of the summer season, and finals are approaching rapidly. See below for details about registrations, Lil' Ladybirds, uniform orders and our upcoming events! We are so looking forward to having you all on board for the winter season!

Winter 2024 registrations
Get ready to lace up your sneakers and hit the court because registration for the 2024 winter season is now officially open! We're thrilled to invite all returning players, as well as newcomers eager to join our dynamic netball community, to sign up for what promises to be an unforgettable season.
Whether you're a seasoned netball enthusiast or someone looking to try out this fantastic sport for the first time, we welcome players of all skill levels and backgrounds. This season is shaping up to be filled with spirited competition, camaraderie, and plenty of memorable moments.
To secure your spot on the team and ensure you don't miss out on the action, simply register via PlayHQ here and complete the easy sign-up process. There is a $100 non-refundable trial fee and no sports vouchers to be used on trial fees. Registrations close on 11th February, don't miss out! Trials are on Sunday 25th February and 3rd March from 9am.
Incentive program
Our incentive program was a huge hit for the summer season, so we are doing it again in 2024! If you have a friend who wants to come to and play for Ladybirds this season please email secretary@ladybirdsnetball.com with your name, your child's name and the name of the player you are referring and you will receive a $50 voucher, it's that simple! Let us work on growing the club together.
Lil' Ladybirds
After another successful year of our Lil' Ladybirds program in 2023, we are bringing it back for 2024! Starting on the 1st of February 2024, players aged 4-8 are encouraged to come out to SUNA and give netball a go. This six-week program runs on Thursday nights from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm. For only $25 participants will get a Lil' Ladybirds t-shirt (pictured), a netball and a medal at the conclusion of the program. Please pass this on to anyone you know who is interested in trying out netball, the link to register is here.
Uniforms
It's time to look the part! Our uniform store is officially open for the 2024 winter season. Grab your gear before the first trial on February 25th. You will have the opportunity to try on the uniforms at any of our upcoming training sessions or the first trial, just chat to one of our friendly committee members!

Come and Try
Come and try is on Thursday 8th February, at 6:30 pm at SUNA. All ages and abilities are welcome! Current players are encouraged to bring a friend, and new players from outside of the club can come along and get a taste of what Ladybirds is all about before committing to the winter season. We will also have a committee member in the shed to help with registrations. If you haven't already registered for winter you can do so here.
